West Pittston History Day

West Pittston History Day

All are invited to join us for the second West Pittston History Day from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the West Pittston Library, Exeter Avenue. Residents are asked to bring old photos, slides, school items and memorabilia they think will contribute to continuing the legacy of West Pittston’s history. Scanners will be available on site and all photos and items will be returned that day. Residents are encouraged to search their homes for historical artifacts to share with future generations. Items from the society’s collection will also be on display. This image, of several West Pittston High School cheerleaders in the 1930s, was received by the society during its 2019 History Day observance.
