  • I know some of the history of the home at 620 Montgomery Ave. that I grew up. We remodeled in the 1960s and as we were tearing down the walls, balled up 1864 Pittston Gazettes filled with sawdust fell down from the upper part o f the walls. One of the articles as I recall was of a man driving his horse and buggy on the street, hit a bump, fell off and died.
